Actress Sophie Turner who took to the streets and extended her support in the Black Lives Matter movement even after being pregnant gives a befitting reply to a user who criticizes it
In the wake of the pandemic in the US, many people including celebrities have taken to the streets to protest after African American man named George Floyd was pinned down by the neck by a white police officer until irresponsive. As George Floyd’s death has led to a massive outcry and nationwide protests across the US, like others, actress Sophie Turner also took to the streets to extend her support to the Black Lives Matter movement sharing a picture of her from the protest. While a user criticised Sophie’s actions, the GOT actress went on to give him a befitting reply in return.
On Instagram, Sophie Turner shared a string of pictures and video featuring herself and the huge crowd of protestors supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. The actress shared the pictures and videos captioning them, “No justice, no peace #BlackLivesMatter.” Moving on, in one of the pictures that Sophie shared, the actress is spotted holding a sign that reads, “White Silence Is Violence,” which gave out a strong and powerful message.
Reacting to Sophie Turner’s post, one user pointed out that as the white police officer responsible for Floyd’s death was charged and fired, while the rest have faced consequences. Moving on, the user mentioned that as justice has been made, he asked if there could be peace now. As the comment made by the user did not go well with Sophie, replying to the user, she hit back at him with a befitting answer. She explained how the movement is not only about the four cops who were involved in the murder of George Floyd, but also for the victims like Breonna Taylor, Travyon Martin, Eric Garner, and many others.

Meanwhile, as Sophie gave back a savage reply to the user hitting back at him, she also highlighted the fact that the movement is to stop the racism that is prevalent in the society for years now. She also shared how the movement is about changing the system and mentioned that justice will only be done when society considers everyone an equal. Concluding her reaction, the preggers actress ended talking about how until then there will be no peace. On the other hand, as Sophie Turner extended her support towards the movement, fans can’t help but sing praises of the actress as she joins protest rallies while being heavily pregnant.
